Grand Haven, MI

I feel that sometimes the chaos of college and life in general doesn't really give you anytime to stop and truly smell the roses. That between school, work, and other random job like things life throws at you you never get to appreciate things that make you stop dead in your tracks and just say ''wow!''. This labor day weekend i wanted to find that 'wow' moment and give myself a break from the hustle and bustle of college life. I found that moment a 2 hour drive away in the wonderful town of Grand Haven, MI.

Here sits the Grand Haven Lighthouse. Constructed in 1905 it marks the entrance into the Grand River.

Two young girls throw sand off the Grand Haven Pier, Grand Haven MI, as their father overlooks to make sure the girls stay safe. This day officially marked the last day of summer.
